Some of the top dairy farms from across the country will be featured in World Dairy Expo's 2021 Virtual Farm Tour lineup this year. The presentations allow attendees an opportunity to learn about profitable dairy operations without leaving the Expo grounds in Madison.
The tours will be presented in the Exhibition Hall meeting rooms at the Alliant Energy Center between September 28 through October 2. Producers will present a half-hour video or pictorial overview of their farms, featuring everything from management practices and on-farm processing to employee relations and manure management. Time for questions and answers will follow. There is no cost for these tours.
Wisconsin farms in this year's virtual tour series include Laughing Goat LLC near Cuba City; and Prairieland Dairy of Belleville.
Other North American dairies to be featured are Newalta Dairy LLC, Pipestone, Minn.; Royal Dairy, Royal City, Wash.; Steinhurst Dairy LLC, Creston, Ohio; Donley Farms, Shoshone, Idaho; Hildebrand Farms Dairy, Junction City, Kan.; and Hendrickson Dairy, Menahga, Minn.
