Tiffany Earns Wisconsin Farm Bureau Ag Endorsement

By Blake Jackson

Congressman Tom Tiffany has received the endorsement of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation’s political action committee, Volunteers for Agriculture (VFA), in his campaign for governor of Wisconsin.

The endorsement follows Tiffany’s completion of the organization’s candidate questionnaire, where he outlined a series of proposals aimed at strengthening the state’s agricultural sector.

Tiffany’s platform includes protecting farmland from foreign ownership, opposing the conversion of productive farmland for industrial wind, solar, and large-scale data center developments, expanding market opportunities for Wisconsin agricultural products, and establishing a Young Farmers Program to support new producers entering the industry.

Tiffany also voiced support for Farm Bureau Health Plans to provide farmers with more affordable health care options.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau. Growing up on a dairy farm in western Wisconsin taught me the values of hard work, personal responsibility, and stewardship that have guided me throughout my life. As America celebrates its 250th birthday, we should remember that Wisconsin farmers have been helping feed this great nation for generations," said Tom Tiffany.

"When I’m governor, I'll protect our farmland from Communist China, industrial solar and wind projects, and Big Data developments, launch a Young Farmers Program to help the next generation get started, expand markets for Wisconsin products, and ensure Wisconsin agriculture remains strong for the next 250 years.”

“Congressman Tiffany understands Wisconsin agriculture and has a clear record of standing with farmers. His survey responses presented a vision for Wisconsin agriculture that closely aligned with the priorities of our members," said VFA Committee Chair Austin Vandertie.

"His commitment to protecting farmland, supporting the next generation of farmers, reducing unnecessary regulatory burdens, along with his record of leadership on key issues like the Pet and Livestock Act in Congress show his commitment to farmers and resonated strongly with the committee.”

“Under Tom Tiffany’s leadership, Wisconsin agriculture will be positioned for growth and success,” said WFBF President Brad Olson.

“Led by farmers across our state, the VFA’s decision shows strong confidence in Congressman Tiffany’s appreciation for rural Wisconsin and his commitment to growing the state’s agricultural economy.”
