Uken Named CAO of Wisconsin Farm Bureau

The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation has named a new permanent chief administrative officer. Bradley Uken will oversee all day-to-day operations of the Madison-based farm organization after working in various capacities for the Illinois Farm Bureau during his entire career.

"Farm Bureau is a great organization, one that continuously strives to serve our members," Uken said. "I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to be part of Wisconsin Farm Bureau. I look forward to helping the organization build on its rich tradition and meeting the challenges that agriculture faces now and in the future."

A native of Champaign County, Illinois, Uken was born and raised on a corn, soybean and wheat farm. His family also operated a small farrow to finish hog farm. He attended Parkland College for two years before transferring to Illinois State University in Bloomington-Normal where he earned a degree in agri-business.

Uken begins his duties on February 1. He succeeds Kim Pokorny, who left the organization in August.
