WCMA Accepting Nominations for 2022 Recognition Awards

The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association is seeking nominations for individuals that deserve to be recognized for outstanding contributions to the dairy processing industry. WCMA members may submit nominations through forms available on the WCMA website through August 31.

The group is looking for recommendations for its Cheese Industry Champion Award, Distinguished Service Award, Vanguard Award, and Babcock Award.

"WCMA is proud to honor people who have built the dairy industry with inspirational careers," said WCMA Director John Umhoefer. "Your nominations make these awards possible, and your ideas for new recognition awards have made the April award ceremony an extraordinary event."

All nominations will be considered by the members of the recognition committee and final awards determinations will be made by the WCMA board of directors.

Awards will be announced early in 2023 and given out at the CheeseCon 2023 in Madison.
