The Wisconsin Corn Foundation, Inc. has announced the winners of its 2021 scholarship program. Drew Tuttle of Drumond; Katelyn King from Brownsville; and Victorria Meylor, Darlington were chosen as the group's first-ever scholarship recipients.
Originally designed to be one $500 scholarship, the WCG was able to award two $500 and one $250 scholarship after the Goessling family of Whitewater donated additional funds in memory of Ralph Goessling.
The Foundation's scholarship program recognizes individuals pursuing a career in agriculture, with preference given to those students possessing leadership abilities and interest in the grain industry.
The Wisconsin Corn Foundation was founded in 2019 to provide support for continuing education for new and next generation corn growers.
