The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is set to reveal the top candidates for the 78th Alice in Dairyland on Friday, March 7, 2025.
The announcement will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the Crawford County Administration Building in Prairie du Chien.
Members of the media are invited to attend the press conference, where the finalists for this prestigious agricultural ambassador role will be introduced.
The event will feature Halei Heinzel, the current 77th Alice in Dairyland, alongside the newly selected candidates. Following the announcement, attendees will have the opportunity to conduct interviews and capture photos with the candidates and Heinzel.
The selection of the finalists marks the beginning of their journey toward the Alice in Dairyland Finals, a three-day event scheduled for May 15-17, 2025, in Crawford County.
Throughout the competition, candidates will engage in rigorous evaluations, including public speaking engagements and media interviews, to demonstrate their ability to represent Wisconsin’s agricultural industry.
