The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation's Promotion and Education Committee is hosting a one-day Leadership Boot Camp on October 28 at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Fond du Lac.
This year's Leadership Boot Camp will focus on 'Storytelling Strategies,' teaching effective consumer outreach tactics, featuring a panel discussion on sustainable storytelling successes, and exploring avenues to share the state's agricultural narrative through WFBF's consumer-facing website, Gather Wisconsin.
The event also includes a Volunteer Rally on October 27, hosted by Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom, offering workshops, resources, hands-on activities, and idea sharing. Participants can join a tour and dinner at LaClare Family Creamery.
Both the Volunteer Rally and Leadership Boot Camp are open to Farm Bureau members, including collegiate members. Registration costs $30 for both days and $20 for one day, covering training and lunch. An additional $15 registration fee applies for the LaClare Family Creamery tour and dinner. The registration deadline is October 16.
