Wisconsin Farm Bureau Names 2026 Event Ambassadors

By Blake Jackson

The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation (WFBF) has selected four college students as its Event Ambassadors for the fourth year of the program.

Amalia Draxler, Brooke Mallek, Cassidy Finke and Hannah Yeager will create social media content highlighting the WFBF Annual Meeting & YFA Conference, scheduled for December 4-7, 2026, at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells.

The program provides college students with practical experience in event coverage, agricultural communications, and digital content creation. Ambassadors will use social media platforms to share event highlights, capture photographs, produce engaging content, and identify compelling stories throughout the conference.

Selected students are expected to demonstrate strong writing and photography skills, understand social media strategy, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Draxler is a fourth-year student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, studying agricultural and applied economics and life sciences communication. Her agricultural leadership experience includes involvement with Wisconsin FFA, Fairest of the Fair, the Association of Women in Agriculture, Collegiate Farm Bureau, Badger Dairy Club and other campus organizations.

Mallek, a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, is pursuing a degree in agricultural education. She participates in Collegiate Farm Bureau, the university's Agriculture Ambassador program and the Agriculture Education Society, where she serves as vice president.

Mallek also owns Grace Mae Photography LLC and has developed agricultural communications and social media experience through internships with Gather Wisconsin, Wisconsin FFA and the Wisconsin Association of Agricultural Educators.

Finke is a senior at UW-Platteville majoring in animal science with a pre-veterinary emphasis. Her campus activities include serving as Pre-Veterinary Club Symposium co-chair and participating as an Ag Ambassador, Women in STEM peer mentor, and member of the Agricultural Women's Association, Collegiate Farm Bureau and Pioneer Dairy Club.

Yeager is a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls studying animal science with a pre-veterinary emphasis. She participates in the university's Collegiate Farm Bureau and serves as co-chair of Ag Day on Campus.
