Nine years after Kewaunee County hosted Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, the event’s Executive Committee has announced the eighth group of recipients selected for the Second Half Scholarship Fund.
The program supports students who are in the latter stages of their post-secondary education, including juniors and seniors in four-year degree programs, students in the second year of two-year programs, or those who have completed at least half of another post-secondary course of study.
Eligible applicants were required to be graduates of Algoma, Denmark, Kewaunee, Luxemburg-Casco, Mishicot, or Southern Door high schools.
In addition, applicants or immediate family members needed to have participated in Farm Technology Days 2017 as volunteers, sponsors, or vendors. Students also had to maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and be enrolled in a college, university, or technical education program.
The 2026 scholarship recipients are:
- Lisa Reinke (Kewaunee) – Northcentral Technical College, Dental Hygiene
- Savannah Bailey (Luxemburg-Casco) – UW–River Falls, Agricultural Education
- Emma Delebreau – UW–Platteville, Biology
- Jacob Treml – Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Diesel Mechanic
- Anna Pravechek – Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Radiology
- Katie Ledvina – UW–Madison, Kinesiology
A total of $6,000 in scholarships was awarded in 2026. Over the course of the program’s 10-year commitment, the scholarship fund will distribute $60,000 to help students pursue their educational and career goals.
