Wisconsin Meat Industry Coalition Conference set for Nov. 1-3

Livestock producers and meat processors of all sizes — as well as others affiliated with supporting these groups — are invited to attend the second annual Wisconsin Meat Industry Coalition Conference set for November 1-3 at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells. The conference was established to explore common interests among the various sectors of meat animal industries, develop a more unified industry voice, and identify collaborative opportunities with high impact.

The keynote speaker for the conference is Dennis Vignieri of Birchwood Foods, speaking on the topic of “The Pursuit of Change: The Kenosha Beef/Birchwood Story.” Attendees will also hear from industry leaders on the latest industry issues and consumer trends, workforce talent development initiatives, as well as funding, grants, and other approaches to growing businesses in Wisconsin. There will be ample opportunities for networking during the conference.
