Wisconsin FFA Officers Planning Virtual Leadership Events

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, state agriculture students will still be able to interactive with the State FFA Officer team this fall, but in a virtual setting. The group of leaders are in the process of developing the COWS (Chapter Officer Workshops) this October to help train FFA chapter officer teams for the year ahead. And the annual Sectional Leadership Workshops will be held online during the month of November using Zoom to conduct leadership training sessions.

"The state officers have been busy training and preparing for the next couple months in order to provide members with some awesome leadership development opportunities even though we can't meet in person," said State FFA Director Cheryl Zimmerman.

Meanwhile, the FIRE Conferences for 7-9 grade students will also be held virtually during December.

FFA members are encouraged to talk with their high school chapter advisors to take part in the various leadership programs being offered by the organization.
