PDPW Still Accepting Producers for Financial Literacy for Dairy Program
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 02/06/2019
The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin announced it still has openings for its second annual Financial Literacy for Dairy program. Open to dairy producers only, coordinators says the course will be facilitated by speakers who will provide
dairy farmers and allied industry with the knowledge base and financial acumen needed to successfully and confidently make daily, annual and long-term strategic decisions for their dairy business.
Courses began last fall, but will continue in Marshfield throughout February, March and April at the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield Ag Research Station.
"PDPW's Financial Literacy for Dairy program is excellent because it will meet us where we're at," said PDPW Board Member Marty Hallock. "Being placed in a class with like-minded peers will allow us to put our newly learned financial skills
straight to work and give us the confidence and knowledge to make tough business decisions."
The sessions will be limited to 30 attendees. Registration includes training, meals, refreshments and meeting materials.
