Ag in the Classroom Holding National Ag Day Activities

The Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom program is encouraging the state's agricultural community to celebrate National Ag Day, which is March 21.
Among the activities the group will be holding this year include a coloring contest, reading event and social media challenge.
The coloring contest is for children ages 12 and under. Between now and March 1, students can scan or email their coloring projects for the chance to win a package of goodies.
On March 21, the Ag Day Reading Event encourages farmers, volunteers, teachers and others to read books about agriculture.
And the #WIAgProud Campaign is for farmers and agriculturists to share what they do and why they do it on social media.
