Small ruminant farmers are invited to participate in the 2025 Small Ruminant Webinar Series, designed to deliver valuable insights and practical strategies.
This educational series will run monthly, starting in January and concluding in April. Each session will be held online on the fourth Thursday of the month, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (CST).
The series features a lineup of industry experts and researchers who will share the latest updates, research findings, and hands-on tips to support small ruminant farming success.
Webinar Schedule
January 23, 2025 – Dr. Garland Dahlke from Iowa State University will discuss feeding strategies for 2024 forages.
February 27, 2025 – Dr. Kelsey Bentley of Kansas State University will present on using Post-weaning Fecal Egg Count Estimated Breeding Values to improve sheep health.
March 27, 2025 – A panel of entrepreneurs will share their experiences and insights about sheep-related products and services.
April 24, 2025 – Dr. Cody Gifford from the University of Wyoming will focus on lamb carcass quality.
