The Calumet County Dairy Promotion Committee will host its 35th annual 'Sundae' on a Dairy Farm on June 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Woldt Farms LLC near Brillion. Organizers say it is a family event with no admission being charged.
Attendees will enjoy live music, guided farm tours provided via wagon rides, multiple booth displays, Woldt Farms heritage display and a photo booth for families to take pictures with dairy calves. Kids games and fun educational activities will also be available.
Besides ice cream, there will be plenty of food to enjoy including burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches.
Woldt Dairy milks 1,500 cows and grows more than 4,500 acres of crops. It's owned by Daryl & Amy Woldt along with their five daughters Kelsey, Kayla, Kristen, Karly, and Kortney. The operation has been in the family since 1911 and recently became a century farm.
