The USDA announced that the July Federal Order Class III milk price fell to $22.52 per hundredweight. That was $1.81 lower for the month, and $6.03 below July 2021. The benchmark price recently set a new all-time record hight of $25.21 in May of this year.
So far, the Class III price has averaged $22.88 during 2022.
The Class IV component price was four-cents lower for the month at $25.79, and $9.79 less than last year.
