Compeer Financial Launches New Food & Agribusiness Award

Compeer Financial has launched a new award program that recognizes and celebrates businesses in the food and agribusiness sector who have shown great leadership in the areas of innovation, agricultural advocacy, community outreach and client service.

Coordinators say nominations for the Food & Agribusiness of the Year Award will be accepted through May 31

Businesses in the food and agribusiness sector, including food and commodity processing; service-related industries like trucking or cold storage; or a supplier or servicer to production agriculture are eligible for the award. Nominees must have annual revenue of $5 million or greater and conduct the majority of their business within Compeer's 144 county lending service area.

Businesses can be nominated by another individual or business, or may also be self-nominated.

The winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize, along with a matching prize of $5,000 to be donated to a local agriculture or food charity of the winner's choice.

For more information or to nominate a business, go to: https://pages.compeer.com/FAB-Award-Overview.html.
