Two distinguished members of the Wisconsin Junior Holstein Association have been honored during the past weekend. Ben Kronberg of Milton and Nicole Broege from Janesville were named Outstanding Holstein Boy and Girl. The announcement was made on the group's Facebook page on Sunday.
Kronberg and Broege were among the selected Distinguished Junior Members honored by the association, and will compete at the National Holstein Convention this summer in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Other DJM honorees include Courtney Glenna, Amery; Hannah Hockerman, Westfield; Marissa Osberg, Monroe; Elise Bleck, Plymouth; Cole Mahlkuch, Juda; Ainsley Noble, Lancaster; Eliza Endres, Waunakee; and Josh Gerbitz, Milton.
Meanwhile, the group also announced that students have been participating virtually in Dairy Bowl and Dairy Jeopardy competitions during the past week. All finalists will compete during an in-person event in Marshfield on April 25.
The WJHA announced in December that it will hold its various awards programs and competitions virtually this spring in lieu of gathering together in person at its annual convention.
