The Wisconsin Pork Association (WPA) and UW-Extension are hosting a Show Pig Symposium on Saturday, January 11th, 2025, at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

This event is perfect for anyone involved in raising or showing pigs, including breeders, exhibitors, and industry professionals.

The symposium will provide attendees with practical advice and insights from industry leaders. You'll learn how to improve your production efficiency and increase your chances of success in the show ring.

Topics covered will include selection strategies, traceability (including AgView), nutrition, advancements in supplemental heat, biosecurity practices, and daily pig care.

There will also be a dedicated session with the Wisconsin Show Pig Association Board Members discussing the 2025 WSPA Show Season Update. Additionally, fun and interactive youth activities will be offered by the Wisconsin Show Pig Association Junior Board Members.
