Equity Co-op Cancels Annual District Meetings

Regional board members of the Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association have decided to call off the 2021 annual district meetings as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chairman Les Danielson said in a statement this week that the decision was made after carefully weighing the health and safety protocols, as well as for the safety of members and staff.

"Our cooperative's district annual meetings have always been a great opportunity for members to gather, enjoy a meal, receive updates on programs and services, and receive financial information and door prizes," Danielson said. "This decision was not easy because the board would like nothing more than to meet with our members, especially after the challenging year we've all experienced."

He adds that the updates will continue to be posted on Facebook and the Equity website.
