The executive board members of the Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association will remain in place for another year.
During the group's annual meeting, which was held virtually last week, Steven Bartling was re-elected as president of the board. Other officers re-elected include Rocky Biegel, vice president; Mary Smedbronn, secretary; and Jenna Van Wychen, treasurer.
Meanwhile, the WSCGA also honored many of its members during the forum. Nicole Hansen of Cranberry Creek Cranberries earned the Service to Industry Award. Tom Gardner of Hay Creek Companies and Gardner Cranberry, is this year's recipient of the President's Award. And the 2021 Public Policy Advocate is Karl Pippenger.
Other winners were Pam Verhulst, Education Advocate; Amber Bristrow, Communications Advocate; Jack Perry, Researcher of the Year; and Vine Vest, LLC, Associate Member of the Year.
