Eugster Wins First-Ever Duffy WORF Scholar Award

A University of Wisconsin-Madison student is the inaugural recipient of the Pat Duffy/Duffy Grain - Wisconsin Rural Opportunities Foundation, Inc. Board Scholar award.

Katherine Eugster of Stoughton has received $1,000 towards her education as she pursues a degree in agricultural business management and environmental studies with a minor in Spanish.

Living on a farm her entire life, Eugster has accumulated a variety of skills and work experience including her hobby of showing goats for nearly a decade. Over the years she has garnered a number of awards including five grand champion honors.

For nearly a century, the Wisconsin Rural Opportunities Foundation has invested in the education of people from rural Wisconsin so they in turn can transform and improve the economic health and quality of life in their rural areas.
