FarmFirst Dairy College Scholarship Deadline is March 31

FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative will again be offering college scholarships to high school and collegiate students throughout the Midwest. The money will go to students pursuing a post-secondary education.

"Education is a cornerstone in the foundation of this cooperative," says FarmFirst Dairy Board President John Rettler. "The cooperative remains committed to supporting our membership youth and their future. FarmFirst is proud to be able to support so many individuals in their pursuit of higher education, and we are eager to see."

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on leadership, scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities, essay responses, their future plans and career goals. All members of FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative and their children attending four-year universities, two-year technical programs or short courses in addition to high school seniors planning for post-secondary education are eligible to apply for the scholarships.

Applications are due March 31.

This is the ninth year of the cooperative's scholarship program, in which more than $166,000 dollars have been awarded to 192 individuals.
