Online voters have propelled the Loadmaster 2X Forage Dump Box into the final round in this year's 'Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin' contest. Produced by H&S Manufacturing in Marshfield, the harvesting dump cart can transport up to 60,000 pounds of forage and lift it as high as 15 feet in the air so it can be dumped into a large semi trailer.
Only four items remain in the competition, which is coordinated by the Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce and Johnson Financial Group. The other contenders include an Electric Fire Truck made by Pierce Manufacturing, Inc.; Quidel Savanna portable lab sample testing device from Plexus Corp.; and the Tomberlin E-Merge Beachcomber all-terrain utility vehicle manufactured by Columbia Vehicle Group.
People can vote for their top choice in the contest by going to www.madeinwis.com
The winner will be announced at WMC Foundation's Made in Wisconsin Luncheon in Madison on October 19.
