The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is now accepting nominations for the Wisconsin Organic Advisory Council (OAC) through April 15, 2026.
Open seats are available for representatives in four categories: organic farmer, organic business, organic consumer, and at-large. Council members serve three-year terms and are expected to meet at least four times annually.
A selection committee, composed of DATCP staff and current OAC members, will review nominations and make recommendations to DATCP Secretary Randy Romanski. Newly appointed members will begin their terms at the July 2026 council meeting.
Nomination forms should highlight why candidates would be valuable additions to the council. Completed forms can be mailed to DATCP, attn: Ben Becker, P.O. Box 8911, Madison, WI 53708, or emailed to benjamin.becker@wisconsin.gov.
For questions, contact Ben Becker at (608) 320-6685. More information and nomination materials are available online at the DATCP Organic Advisory Council page.
