Apply Now for Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board Seats

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is now accepting nominations for two open positions on the Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board.

Soybean producers from specific districts are eligible to nominate themselves or others.

  • District 1 includes Ashland, Barron, Bayfield, Burnett, Chippewa, Clark, Douglas, Iron, Marathon, Portage, Price, Rusk, Sawyer, Taylor, Washburn, and Wood counties.
  • District 7 covers Brown, Calumet, Door, Florence, Forest, Kewaunee, Langlade, Lincoln, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Oneida, Outagamie, Shawano, Vilas, and Waupaca counties.

Producers interested in serving on the board can request nomination forms by contacting DATCP Market Orders staff at DATCPMarketOrders@wisconsin.gov before May 29, 2026.

Completed forms must include signatures from five eligible soybean growers, other than the nominee, and be postmarked by May 29, 2026. Forms should be mailed to DATCP Market Orders Program, P.O. Box 8911, Madison, WI 53708-8911.

Elections for the board will be held from July 10 through August 15, 2026. Successful candidates will begin their three-year terms on September 1, 2026.

The Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board provides guidance on market programs and initiatives that support soybean growers statewide.
