Man Dies in Skid Steer Accident



A warehouse employee in Janesville has died after becoming pinned between a semi and a skid steer loader that was used for plowing snow.

According to reports, 44-year-old Robert Dye, Jr. was working for Kenco Logistics on Friday afternoon when the accident happened.

Police say Dye was helping the driver of the semi when the operator of the skid steer struck him.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the accident.
