The Wisconsin Corn Growers Association has elected several members to its board of directors.
Members re-elected Doug Rebout of Janesville to another three-year term on the board, and voted-in newcomers Andrea Brossard and Luke Goessling.
Rebout has served as the organization's president for the past three years and farms in partnership with his mother and brothers. Doug has also served on the Governor's Task Force on Climate Change and is a member of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture board of directors.
Brossard is a third-generation farmer in Beaver Dam. She and her family milk 400 Holsteins and farm 800 acres. Andrea is a member of the Dodge County Farm Bureau board and serves on the American Farm Bureau's Promotion and Education Committee.
And Goessling farms about 700 acres and also owns and operates a gravel trucking company. He has been an active member of WCGA, participating in a number of advocacy-related events.
Also at the meeting, Ben Huber was elected to serve as an associate director, where he represents Insight FS.
Meanwhile, Mark Hoffmann of Whitewater was elected of the WCGA board. Mike Berget, Darlington, will serve as vice president and Shane Goplin, Whitehall, is the new secretary-treasurer.
