PDPF Grants Applications Due June 1

The education foundation of the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin is offering money once again to non-profit organizations that have unique ideas in educating consumers about the importance of the dairy industry.

The Professional Dairy Producers Foundation announced that the grants will be awarded to groups that hope to build producer professionalism or maintaining public trust.

"The Foundation intends to fund new programs and initiatives that benefit the dairy community from coast to coast," said PDPF Director Janet Keller. "If you have an idea that could use a jump start with a $5,000 grant, please apply."

Since 2010 the Foundation has awarded more than $275,000 in grants to support vital programs that grow leaders in the dairy community for more prepared dairy producers.

Grant criteria and an application package is available at: www.dairyfoundation.org. Applications are due June 1. For more information or to receive an application, call 800-947-7379.
