PDPW Announces Speakers for Aug 17 - 19 Weekly Dairy Signal



The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin says another group of speakers are set to take part in the online Dairy Signal program this week.

On Tuesday, A group of owners and managers of various dairy farms, processor plants and industry groups will discuss growing demand and experiences with on-farm processing of A2 milk. Speakers include Lonnie Holthaus, MilkHaus Dairy; Tammy Fritsch, Two Guernsey Girls Creamery; and Dr. John Lucey, PhD, Director of Center for Dairy Research.

Wednesday's episode will focus on ways to design ventilation systems to keep cows cool. Those presenters will be Dr. Nigel Cook, DVM, Professor in Food Animal Production Medicine at UW-Madison, and Mike Larson with Larson Acres, Inc.

And on Thursday, Economist Dan Basse of AgResource Company will present the latest news and analysis of agricultural markets and trends that will impact dairy producers and the ag industry.

All episodes are free and available to the public, accessible from www.pdpw.org. They are streamed live at 12:00 noon or available on demand for later playback.
