The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin says another group of speakers are set to take part in the online Dairy Signal program this week.
On Tuesday, Dr. Geof Smith, DVM with Zoetis will team up with Sherry Arnold of Busse's Barron Acres in Barron to discuss maintaining calf health during warmer weather and how one producer works daily keeping 8,000 calves comfortable and hydrated.
University of Wisconsin-Madison professors and students Dr. Luiz Ferraretto, Ben Saylor and Cole Diepersloot will highlight Wednesday's episode. They will highlight dairy research on silage quality and its nutritive value.
And on Thursday, representatives from Dairy Farmers of America will give an update on the the nation's largest dairy cooperative and the innovations keeping them in the forefront of the industry.
