PDPW Announces Speakers for Weekly Dairy Signal Aug 23 - 25



The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin says another group of speakers are set to take part in the online Dairy Signal program this week.

On Tuesday, Dr. Don Miller with Alforex Seeds will talk about the conditions that cause alfalfa winterkill and recommend management techniques to reduce or prevent winterkill and preserve feed quality.

Jeremy Cherny, who is president of Tobin Solutions, will be Wednesday's speaker. He will explain how to protect your business and personal data on networks and wi-fi in the current age of cyber attacks.

And on Thursday, Dr. Keith Poulsen, PhD with the Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory will cover diagnostic tools and signs to watch for to determine if an illness in your calf barn is a single occurrence or the start of an outbreak, and what steps producers should take to manage an breakout.

All episodes are free and available to the public, accessible from www.pdpw.org. They are streamed live at 12:00 noon or available on demand for later playback.
