The Wisconsin FFA State Land & Soil Judging Contest will be held in southern Wisconsin this year. The competition takes place on September 21 at Southwest Technical College in Fennimore.
Each FFA chapter in the state is allowed to bring a senior team and as many junior teams or individuals as they would like.
The cost to participate is $10.00 per contestant in either division. Food will be provided.
The contest allows students to evaluate a plot of land and identify its soil type, slope and layer systems.
