The Wisconsin Soybean Association (WSA) is proud to announce its first-ever Clean Fuels Soybean Classic, a fundraising golf outing to be held on July 29th, 2024, at the Evansville Golf Course in Evansville, Wisconsin.
This event offers an opportunity for golfers to enjoy a day on the green while supporting the WSA's mission of advocating for Wisconsin soybean farmers. The WSA is partnering with Clean Fuels Alliance America, a key industry leader promoting the development and use of sustainable biofuels derived from soybeans.
"We are excited to launch this inaugural event and encourage golfer participation," stated Adam Kask, Executive Director of the Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board, a sponsor of the Classic. "Proceeds will directly benefit WSA's ongoing efforts to support our state's soybean growers."
The Clean Fuels Soybean Classic offers a shotgun start at noon on July 29th. Team registration closes on July 26th, with a fee of $100 per player or $400 for a four-person team. This fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, and meal and drink tickets.
“WSA is proud to partner with Clean Fuels Alliance America for this fundraiser,” said WSA Vice President Doug Rebout. “Together, we stand in supporting biodiesel, renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel as a way to reduce our carbon footprint and also support Wisconsin’s soybean farmers.”
