State Beef Council Seeking Communications Professional



The Madison-based Wisconsin Beef Council is accepting applications for a full-time director of communications and outreach. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks that support the marketing, communications and educational programs of the check-off group.

The new director will be responsible for overseeing communications activities for WBC, including producer and consumer newsletters, website updates, social media and press releases.

Applicants must have a B.S. degree and an agricultural background. In addition, the qualified applicant will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail orientated and able to prioritize tasks, balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
