Three Earn AWABC Graduate Student Scholarships



The Association of Women in Agriculture Benefit Corporation has awarded three scholarships totally $5,000 to alumni members of the Association of Women in Agriculture. This was the group's second year awarding graduate student scholarships.

This year's winners include Ashley Nelson, a Ph.D. student in plant pathology program at North Dakota State University; Amanda Gimenez, attending the Veterinary school at UW-Madison; and Laura Tresslar (Elliott), attending University of Nebraska-Lincoln for her Master of Business Administration degree.

The Association of Women in Agriculture, headquartered on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, is a professional, service and social organization that promotes agriculture and the development of women who serve the agricultural industry.
