The Wisconsin Youth Livestock Program, in connection with the University of Wisconsin Madison Animal & Dairy Sciences Department, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and Division of Extension, are offering live virtual Zoom educational programs for the winter and spring of 2021.
The programs are being held for youth and adults on the second Thursday of the month from January through May. Each session begins at 7 p.m. with a presentation followed by a question and answer period.
On February 11, presenters will discuss feeding and caring for swine without ractopamine. In March, the program will focus on lamb live & carcass evaluation. April's topic will be artificial intelligence in animal sciences using sensors and cameras. And the final webinar in May will be on meat science cookery.
