WBC Offering Summer Beef Promotion Grants

The Wisconsin Beef Council is supporting local agricultural groups that want to foster a sense of community and encourage beef purchasing and consumption through its Local Beef Promotion Event Grant program.

Every summer, the WBC funds several requests to provide educational or promotional materials for local events across the state, such as county fairs, local steak feeds, county Farm Bureau events, breed association events, and more.

As part of our 2021 summer grilling campaign 'Grill Like You Mean It,' the Wisconsin Beef Council plans to support local agricultural groups, foster a sense of community and encourage beef purchasing and consumption by making these grants available," said Beef Council Spokesman Ardel Quam.

Local Beef Promotion Event Grants are open to any agricultural group in Wisconsin. The funds must be used for an event directly promoting beef to participants, and all grant dollars must be used specifically for the event.

For more information or to receive an application, contact the Wisconsin Beef Council at 608-335-7589.
