The national competition hosted by the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF), Wisconsin's exceptional work in communications has garnered recognition for its unwavering commitment to highlighting the vital contributions of farmers and ranchers. Out of 177 submissions from state Farm Bureaus across the country, Wisconsin emerged as a standout performer, receiving accolades in multiple categories.

A notable achievement for Wisconsin was the prestigious Anne Marie Moss Team Effort Award, which commended their remarkable collaboration on a priority issue for the AFBF: sustainability. The award specifically applauded their groundbreaking program titled "35 Under 35." Spearheaded by Rachel Gerbitz, Amy Eckelberg, Cassie Sonnentag, Lynn Siekmann, Wendy Volkert, and Bob Nash, this initiative recognizes outstanding individuals for their leadership in environmental, social, and economic activities. By showcasing the inspiring endeavors of these young professionals, Wisconsin Farm Bureau successfully amplifies the voices of its grassroots members and strengthens agriculture's influential presence across the nation.

Additionally, Wisconsin's commendable communication tactics were recognized with the Best Unique Tactic or Execution award. The efforts of Cassie Sonnentag, Lynn Siekmann, and Bob Leege were commended for their innovative approach to conveying important agricultural messages effectively and creatively. The state Farm Bureau's digital prowess was also lauded, as Wisconsin secured the Best Social Media Presence award.
