Nominations Being Accepted for Pork Leadership Institute
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 07/09/2018
Nominations are now being accepted for the Pork Leadership Institute, a joint program hosted by the National Pork Board and National Pork Producers Council.
According to the Wisconsin Pork Association, the PLI program consists of a four session program, designed to develop the participant's ability to advocate on behalf of the industry as well as develop future potential leaders.
The PLI program provides participants with a better understanding of the roles of NPPC and the National Pork Board and helps develop skills necessary to lead an ever-changing pork industry and tell the pork industry's story from Main Street to the nation's capital. As part of PLI, attendees will attend NPPC's legislative action conferences, World Pork Expo, participate in an international trade trip, and more throughout the year.
There is no cost to participate in the program. If you are interested in learning more about this program, contact the WPA office at 608-723-7551.
