The USDA announced that the July Federal Order Class III milk price fell to $16.49 per hundredweight. That was 72-cents lower for the month, and $8.05 below July 2020 (which was the peak month during that year).
So far, the Class III price has averaged $16.90 during 2021.
The Class IV component price was 35-cents lower for the month at $16.00, and $2.24 less than last year.
Earlier this week, Wisconsin's all milk price for June was announced at $18.30 cwt., which was $1.40 lower than last month's price and $1.50 below the same month last year.
