Get Certified - Wisconsin BQA Events for Beef Producers

By Blake Jackson

The Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) program is a vital resource for U.S. beef producers, offering practical and scientifically backed guidance on effective cattle management.

By adopting good husbandry practices combined with accepted scientific knowledge, producers can ensure their cattle are raised under optimal conditions.

Earning BQA certification can be a game-changer for beef producers, especially those involved in selling cattle.

Certification serves as proof of adherence to high-quality standards and often leads to substantial premiums during sales, making it a worthwhile investment in both time and effort.

Two opportunities to obtain BQA certification are available on January 16th, 2025, in Wisconsin.

Producers can choose between two sessions:

Lomira, WI

  • Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Markesan, WI

  • Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

These sessions are perfect for beef producers looking to enhance their operations and gain a competitive edge in the market. BQA certification reflects a commitment to quality and responsible cattle management, which resonates with buyers and strengthens industry trust.

If you or someone you know is interested, don’t miss this chance to participate. For more information, visit the Beef Quality Assurance website at www.bqa.org.
