PDPW Announces Speakers for Jan 5 - 7 Weekly Dairy Signal



The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin says another group of speakers are set to take part in the online Dairy Signal program this week.

On Tuesday, Dr. Gerard Crame, DVM, will discuss the latest hoof trimming methods, herd level factors that influence lameness incidence and how dairy producers can reduce the incidence of lameness.

Dr. Heather White, PhD, assistant professor of nutritional physiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison will facilitate Wednesday's program. She will provide an update on transition cow research and feed efficiency trials predicting individual cow feed intake and how they utilize nutrients differently, as well as an update at the Dairy Innovation Hub.

And on Thursday, George Twohig and Troy Schneider of Twohig, Rietbrock, Schneider & Halbach Law Office will give a presentation on farm estate and transfer plans.

All episodes are free and available to the public, accessible from www.pdpw.org. They are streamed live at 12:00 noon or available on demand for later playback.
