UW-Madison Collegiate Farm Bureau Elects Officers



The Collegiate Farm Bureau group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has elected its new officers for the next school year.

Billy Zeimet, a dairy science major with a certificate in agricultural business management within the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, has been elected president of the group. The Stoughton native will be a senior this fall and will soon intern with CentralStar Cooperative as an AI Technician in south central Wisconsin this summer.

Sabrina Servais from Chaseburg was elected vice president. She will be entering her senior year, finishing her double major in dairy science and life sciences communication with a certificate in agricultural business management.

Clarissa Gross, Fort Atkinson, will be the new secretary. She will be a junior within the Dairy Science department and is also pursuing a certificate in agricultural business management. She will be spending her summer interning at Hall's Calf Ranch in Kewaunee.

And the new treasurer will be Nicole Broege of Janesville. She will be a sophomore pursuing a major in dairy science with a certificate in mathematics.

Meanwhile, Zachary Wiegel from Shullsburg will serve as the director of public relations as a sophomore this fall. He is majoring in agricultural business management.

Meanwhile, Kirstin Novak of Sullivan was chosen as the director of Ag in the Classroom. A junior, she is pursuing agricultural business management with a certificate in food systems; and Olivia Spaight, Waterford, will serve as the director of public relations as a junior this fall. Olivia is majoring in dairy science and life sciences communications with a certificate in agricultural business management.

UW-Madison dairy science faculty associate, Ted Halbach, will continue serving as the Collegiate Farm Bureau advisor.

The Collegiate Farm Bureau is affiliated with the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation.
