Apply Now - WCA 2026 Scholarships for Future Ag Leaders

By Blake Jackson

The Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association (WCA) has opened applications for its 2026 scholarship program, offering financial support to Wisconsin high school seniors pursuing further education.

The program will award five scholarships valued at $1,000 each. Applications must be submitted by February 27, 2026.

Eligibility is limited to students who live in Wisconsin and have experience or involvement in the beef, veal, or dairy sectors. Applicants must be currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited university, technical college, community college, or the Farm & Industry Short Course program.

While all qualified students are encouraged to apply, preference may be given to those studying agriculture-related disciplines or attending an educational institution within Wisconsin.

Scholarship recipients will be invited to take part in the WCA Summer Tour scheduled for June 2026. This annual event includes visits to beef industry operations and concludes with an awards presentation, providing students with valuable networking opportunities alongside producers and industry professionals.

To be considered, applicants must submit a completed application form, an essay, two letters of recommendation, and a high school enrollment verification form.

Materials can be mailed to the Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association office in Verona (957 Liberty Drive, Suite 201, Verona, WI 53593) or emailed to info@wisconsincattlemen.com. Full details and application materials are available on the associations website.
