Thirty-Nine Vying for 2020 Wisconsin Fairest of the Fair

The 2020 Wisconsin Fairest of the Fair will be crowned during the 54th Wisconsin Association of Fairs' annual convention in Wisconsin Dells early next year. Program coordinators say 39 students will compete for the title, in which the winner will travel the state as the ambassador and spokesperson for all the fairs of Wisconsin. The competition is being held January 5-8 at the Chula Vista Resort.

The contestants will participate in several rigorous interviews and impromptu question and answer sessions throughout the three-day competition.

This year's candidates include: Adams Co. Fair, Mikaila Falash; Barron Co. Fair, Casi Stager; Brown Co. Fair, Olivia Kamps; Calumet Co. Fair, Rachael Wagner; Central WI State Fair, Jenna Snortheim; Clark Co. Fair, Janalee Kapusta; Columbia Co. Fair, Emily Mcreath; Crawford Co. Fair, Brooklynn Nagel; Dane Co. Fair, Heidi Droster;Door Co. Fair, Claire Olson; Dunn Co. Fair, Samantha Vold; Fond Du Lac Co. Fair, Cayley Vande Berg; Grant Co. Fair, Kaitlyn Reed; Green Co. Fair, Liz Mcguire; Green Lake Co. Fair, Cole Chapman; Iowa Co. Fair, Tommie Loken; Jefferson Co. Fair, Libby Knoebel; Juneau Co. Fair, Gracelyn Footit; Kewaunee Co. Fair, Paige Bellin; Lacrosse Interstate Fair, Kaitlyn Opland; Lafayette Co. Fair, Emma Buss; Lodi Ag Fair, Hannah Tayor; Manitowoc Co. The winning contestant will replace outgoing Fairest of the Fair Meghan Buechel from Brown County.
