Oxbo Announces Retirement of Craig Harthoorn

By Blake Jackson

Oxbo has announced the retirement of Craig Harthoorn, Hay and Forage President, effective June 2, 2025.

After years of dedicated service in the agriculture industry, Harthoorn will begin his retirement, a decision he planned earlier this year. He remained in his role to support a smooth leadership transition.

Harthoorn’s career spans decades, with major contributions to the farming equipment sector. He joined H&S Manufacturing Co. in 2017 and played a crucial role in the company’s expansion.

Alongside Chris Heikenen, Harthoorn helped lead the acquisition process in 2023 and then guided its integration under Oxbo.

At Oxbo, Harthoorn led the formation of the Hay and Forage division. His leadership was crucial in consolidating Oxbo’s operations into one central facility in Marshfield, streamlining the company’s production capabilities.

“We are deeply grateful for Craig’s years of service and the lasting impact he has had on our business,” said Roel Zeevat, CEO. “We wish him all the best in this next chapter.”

To ensure smooth operations, Patrick Sullivan will join Oxbo in Marshfield as the interim Hay and Forage President. His role will be vital in continuing the momentum Harthoorn established.

Oxbo serves the forage, fruit, vegetable, seed, root crop, and application markets globally. With a strong focus on specialty harvesting and precision technology, the company’s mission is to optimize farming together.

Oxbo provides engineering, manufacturing, and customer support across multiple regions.

Harthoorn leaves behind a legacy of growth, integration, and leadership in agricultural equipment manufacturing. His work has positioned Oxbo’s Hay and Forage division for a strong future.
