Four collegiate students have been chosen as Wisconsin Farm Bureau’s 2025 Event Ambassadors. Now in its third year, the program welcomes Frannie Everson, Kelly Herness, Parker Litterick, and Brooke Mallek, who will document and share highlights from the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation (WFBF) Annual Meeting & YFA Conference, set for December 5-8, 2025, at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells.
The Event Ambassador program is designed to give college students real-world experience in event coverage while building their digital communication skills. Ambassadors will manage social media content, write posts, take photos, and capture stories throughout the event, connecting with Farm Bureau members and followers online.
Frannie Everson, a junior majoring in animal science at UW-River Falls, grew up on a hobby farm in Alma Center, Wisconsin, where Frannie raised a variety of livestock for local and state fairs. Frannie looks forward to expanding her understanding of Wisconsin Farm Bureau and learning more about agricultural leadership through this role.
Kelly Herness, a senior at UW-Madison, is double-majoring in agricultural and applied economics and life sciences communication, with a certificate in public policy. Raised on her family’s dairy and crop farm in western Wisconsin, Kelly is active in Collegiate Farm Bureau and the Association of Women in Agriculture. Kelly hopes to enhance her communication skills and continue advocating for agriculture while connecting farmers, policymakers, and the public.
Parker Litterick, a senior at Iowa State University studying agricultural communication, grew up on a dairy farm in Theresa, Wisconsin. A former Wisconsin State FFA Officer, Parker has interned with WHO Radio’s The Big Show and Agri-Pulse Communications. Parker is eager to return to Wisconsin’s ag community and promote Farm Bureau through storytelling.
Brooke Mallek, an agricultural education student at UW-Platteville, hails from central Wisconsin. Brooke grew up showing livestock and working on her family farm, where she developed a passion for agriculture and photography. Brooke enjoys sharing authentic farm stories that foster connection and appreciation for rural life.
