Andy Bensend of Dallas, Wisconsin, will represent District 1, which includes Ashland, Barron, Bayfield, Burnett, Chippewa, Clark, Douglas, Iron, Marathon, Portage, Price, Rusk, Sawyer, Taylor, Washburn, and Wood counties.

Matthew R. Wagenson of Bear Creek, Wisconsin, will represent District 7, which includes Brown, Calumet, Door, Florence, Forest, Kewaunee, Langlade, Lincoln, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Oneida, Outagamie, Shawano, Vilas, and Waupaca counties.

The Wisconsin Soybean Board is composed of seven producers who represent seven districts across the state. The board is responsible for overseeing the collection and use of about $2 million in assessment fees paid by Wisconsin soybean producers. This funding is used to support the soybean industry through research, education, and promotion of Wisconsin-grown soybeans.

Bensend and Wagenson are both experienced soybean producers and have a deep commitment to the Wisconsin soybean industry. They are both excited to begin their terms on the board and to work with other producers to support the industry and grow the Wisconsin soybean economy.
