Families looking for an engaging spring break experience can visit the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center, which will have extended hours from Tuesday, March 25, to Saturday, March 29. The center will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering visitors hands-on learning activities focused on science and agriculture.
Throughout the week, guests can participate in interactive experiments and explore various exhibits that highlight agricultural innovations. Each day will feature unique science-based activities, encouraging multiple visits to enjoy the full lineup of experiences.
Visitors can also embark on a self-guided tour through interactive displays, including a combine simulator, a sand table for shaping watersheds, and an exhibit following the journey of a cranberry. A stop at the Land O’Lakes Birthing Barn provides the opportunity to meet a dairy cow up close and possibly witness a calf’s birth.
As an added benefit, teachers will receive free admission throughout the week, making this event a great opportunity for educators to explore field trip possibilities for students.
The Wisconsin Café will be open from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily, offering breakfast, lunch, and homemade soups for visitors.
All spring break activities are included with general admission. Tickets can be purchased at the reception desk or online at farmwisconsin.org. Visitors can also explore membership options, which provide free admission for an entire year.
Located along I-43 in northeastern Wisconsin, Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center is dedicated to agricultural education, connecting visitors with the world of farming and food production. Admission is $18 for adults, $14 for seniors aged 62 and older, and $10 for youth aged 3-18, while children 2 and under enter for free. More details are available at farmwisconsin.org.
